This week in school....
- Ellie, Sasha, and Peter all led morning meeting! Great job!
- Cynthia and Colin got to bring home a Mo stuffy this week.
- Mansur and Charlotte got to blog this week.
- we had a mystery reader! Thank you Mrs. Capobianco for coming in to read to us!
- we went to a restaurant in Mrs. Maxwell’s 2nd grade class.
- Cynthia taught us all how to make a kite.
- we started making chapters in our book for writing workshop
- we continued to use Cynthia Rylant’s book “Henry and Mudge” as a mentor text for writing realistic fiction. We learned how to elaborate by including patterns in our books.
- We changed the calendar to June
- we started earning gems for school store prizes.
- we got our scripts for reader’s theater. We are practicing for our end of the year celebration on June 11 @ 9:20 (Hope you can all make it!)
- We measured things using paper clips.
- we didn’t have school on Monday because it was Memorial Day.
- Today was the last day for taking out media books.
